Delivery & Installation Policy
Pakenham appliances offers delivery and installation of new appliances across our service area. Our Service area covers the City of Casey, Cardina Shire, Shire of Baw Baw, South Gippsland Shire, Phillip Island and more. Pick up is available for orders outside of our service area.
Delivery/Installation options for those out of our service area can be applied through quote requests.
After purchasing a new appliance our team will contact you to find a suitable time & day for delivery/installation. Estimated time of arrival is 1-14 business days subject to stock availability. Monday – Friday, excluding holidays. Between 9-5pm
If delivery is carried out by a third-party courier service, removal of old appliances & installation is not available, unless approved by our team. If delivery requires two of our team to deliver/install this may incur an additional fee. According to OH&S we will require our technicians to keep all safety gear on during installation/delivery.
Speed Queen Appliances are delivered directly from the supplier.
Agency Agreement Policy
When we sell a SpeedQueen product, if within SpeedQueen’s service area they will deliver/install your new appliance for free but if you are outside of their service area Delivery/installation will be covered by Pakenham Appliances for a fee depending on your location. Pick up is also available from our warehouse.
Installation is not currently available for gas dryers by Pakenham Appliances.
All stock of Speedqueen is supplied directly from SpeedQueen’s warehouse.
When Delivery and installation is covered by Pakenham Appliances there is an additional fee to remove your old appliance. If Delivery and installation is covered by Speedqueen removal of your old appliance is included.
Delivery Cost
Delivery within our service area is a flare rate of $50.00
Delivery outside of our service area & Delivery that requires extra technicians is quoted through our office.
Installation Cost
Installation is offered to our service area unless agreed upon by our team.

Preparation For Delivery
Our team will contact you the day before delivery to confirm the scheduled time needed for accepting your new appliance. It is important that you are home at the agreed time to receive the delivery and available to be contacted by your listed phone number.
Delivery requires signature upon arrival.
Redelivery of an appliance will incur a fee.
The appliance must be paid for in full before delivery.
It is important that we are informed of any difficulties that may prevent delivery of goods.
If our delivery driver is delayed, you will be contacted by our team with an estimated eta and in unforeseen circumstances rescheduled at the nearest next available time.
Upon delivery of your goods, you are responsible to inspect that the appliance is free of damage, is complete and is the appliance you ordered. If there are any issues contact the office as soon as possible.
Removal Of Old Appliance
Removal of old appliances is only offered when installation is purchased unless approved by our team.
If the old appliance needs to be dismantled for removal this may incur an additional fee.Removal of old appliances does not include moving items to another address or coming back at a different time to pick up the old appliance.
Note that old appliances should be similar in size/type as the new appliance.

DISHWASHERS
- Delivery and Installation for Dishwashers from $200.00
- Removal of old appliance.
- Removal of appliance cardboard packaging.
Works we are not responsible for –
- Cabinetry opening for appliance, has correct measurements for fitting.
- If the power lead does not reach the power point, extra charges will apply.
- Hot and Cold taps are in standard reach of the unit.
- Drain hose outlet within standard reach of the unit.
- The floor is level within Australian standards.
- Including any unforeseen problems preventing installation.
OVENS
- Delivery and Installation for Ovens from $280.00
- Removal of old appliance.
- Removal of appliance cardboard packaging.
Works we are not responsible for –
- If the power lead does not reach the power point, extra charges will apply.
- Wiring at the fuse box is at australian standards.
- Cabinetry suitable for installation of measurement and weight. (no pipes or obstructions in the way of where oven is installed)
- Suitable circuit breaker for appliance(s) purchased.
- Including any unforeseen problems preventing installation.
RANGEHOODS
- Delivery and Installation for Rangehoods from $280.00
- Removal of old appliance.
- Removal of appliance cardboard packaging.
Works we are not responsible for –
- We are not responsible for the integrity of the existing ducting (or lack thereof), and if issues arise with ducting, extra charges will apply.
- If the power lead does not reach the power point, extra charges will apply.
- If plastering is required on the wall or roof.
- If the wall requires painting.
- If the wall requires sealing or gap filling.
- If tiles need to be cut or relayed.
- Cabinetry needs to be adjusted lower or higher or needs to be modified to make it fit.
- Cutting down flue to size.
- Including any unforeseen problems preventing installation.
COOKTOPS
- Delivery and Installation for Cooktops from $280.00
- Removal of old appliance
- Works we are not responsible for –
- If the power lead does not reach the power point, extra charges will apply.
- Wiring at the fuse box is at australian standards.
- Cabinetry suitable for installation of measurement and weight. (no pipes in the way of where oven is installed)
- Suitable circuit breaker for appliance purchased.
- Including any unforeseen problems preventing installation.
REFRIGERATORS/DRYERS/WASHING MACHINES
- Delivery and Installation for Refrigerators/Dryers/Washing Machines from $120.00
- Removal of old appliance.
- Removal of appliance cardboard packaging.
Works we are not responsible for –
- If the power lead does not reach the power point, extra charges will apply.
- Cold taps are in standard reach of the unit.
- The floor is level within Australian standards.
- If refrigerator purchased is too large to fit through your doorways or area it is to be installed in
- Furniture/ objects obstructing path of entry for technician and Appliance.
- Including any unforeseen problems preventing installation.
Returns
Returns need to be notified within 7 days of the date of delivery. Appliances that remain unboxed and undamaged qualify to receive a full refund after inspection by P.A
If the appliance is unboxed and unused, store credit will be given minus a 25% restocking fee of the invoice total.
The customer is responsible for returns to the warehouse.
Appliances that have been installed/used will not be approved for store credit or a refund.
All appliances will be inspected upon return before refunds or store credit are issued.
Damaged Appliances
If your appliance arrives damaged, it is important to report damages within 7 days from the date of delivery to our team at (03) 5607 5752
Warranty
All new appliances hold warranties specific to their manufacturer. Proof of purchase will be needed in claiming warranty.
